At Al-Nur Quran Academy, we are committed to providing high-quality Quranic education and ensuring student satisfaction. We understand that circumstances may change, and we have established this Refund Policy to address various situations fairly and transparently.
Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase. By subscribing to our services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Refund Policy.
2. Free Trial Period
2.1 Trial Duration
We offer a free trial period to allow new students to experience our services before committing to a paid subscription. The trial typically lasts for one week or includes two trial sessions, whichever comes first.
2.2 Cancellation During Trial
You may cancel your subscription at any time during the free trial period without being charged. To avoid charges:
- Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial period ends
- Contact us via email or through your account dashboard
- No refund is necessary as no payment has been processed
Important: If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your chosen payment method will be automatically charged for the subscription plan you selected.
3. Monthly Subscription Refunds
3.1 Refund Eligibility
Monthly subscriptions may be eligible for a partial refund under the following conditions:
- Within First 7 Days: If you cancel within the first 7 days of your billing cycle and have attended fewer than 2 sessions, you may receive a full refund
- After 7 Days: Refunds are calculated on a pro-rata basis for unused sessions only
- Technical Issues: Full refund if sessions cannot be completed due to our technical failures
3.2 Non-Refundable Scenarios
Monthly subscriptions are NOT eligible for refunds if:
- More than 14 days have passed since the billing date
- You have attended more than 50% of your allocated sessions
- Cancellation is due to personal circumstances unrelated to service quality
- You have violated our Terms of Service
4. Annual Subscription Refunds
4.1 Refund Timeline
Annual subscriptions have different refund terms due to the discounted pricing:
- Within 30 Days: Full refund minus any sessions attended (calculated at standard monthly rates)
- 31-90 Days: Partial refund of 50% of remaining unused months
- After 90 Days: No refunds available for annual subscriptions
4.2 Unused Months Calculation
Refunds are calculated based on:
- Number of complete months remaining in the subscription
- Number of sessions attended in the current month
- Monthly rate equivalent (not the discounted annual rate)
Example: If you paid $450 for an annual plan and cancel after 2 months with 10 months remaining, the refund will be calculated as: (10 months × $49) - $450 paid = $40 refund (within the 50% partial refund policy).
5. Special Circumstances
5.1 Medical or Emergency Situations
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. In cases of serious medical emergencies or family emergencies, we may offer:
- Subscription pause (freeze) for up to 3 months
- Transfer of remaining sessions to a family member
- Case-by-case refund consideration with supporting documentation
5.2 Technical Issues on Our End
If we are unable to provide services due to technical problems on our side:
- Affected sessions will be rescheduled at no additional cost
- If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund for affected sessions will be provided
- Compensation in the form of additional free sessions may be offered
5.3 Instructor Unavailability
If your assigned instructor becomes unavailable and we cannot provide a suitable replacement:
- You may choose to pause your subscription until a replacement is found
- You may request a full refund for the affected period
- You may switch to group sessions temporarily at no extra charge
6. Session Cancellation Policy
6.1 Student-Initiated Cancellations
- 24+ Hours Notice: Session can be rescheduled without penalty
- Less than 24 Hours Notice: Session is forfeited (no refund or reschedule)
- No-Show: Session is forfeited and counts as used
6.2 Instructor-Initiated Cancellations
- Full refund or free rescheduling for the cancelled session
- Additional compensation if less than 24 hours notice is provided
7. Ijazah Certification Programs
Ijazah programs included in the annual plan have special terms:
- Certification programs are non-refundable once initiated
- If you withdraw before starting the Ijazah path, standard annual refund terms apply
- Assessment fees are non-refundable
8. How to Request a Refund
8.1 Refund Request Process
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Contact us via email at refunds@talent-area.com
- Include your account details and subscription information
- Specify the reason for your refund request
- Provide any supporting documentation (if applicable)
8.2 Processing Time
- Refund requests are reviewed within 3-5 business days
- Approved refunds are processed within 7-10 business days
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
- You will receive an email confirmation once the refund is processed
8.3 Required Information
When requesting a refund, please provide:
- Full name and account email
- Order/Transaction ID
- Subscription plan details
- Reason for refund request
- Number of sessions attended (if known)
9. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
9.1 Contact Us First
Before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company, please contact us to resolve the issue. Most concerns can be addressed quickly and amicably.
9.2 Chargeback Consequences
If you initiate a chargeback:
- Your account will be immediately suspended
- We will provide evidence of service delivery to your bank
- You may be responsible for chargeback fees
- Future services may be denied
10. Subscription Pausing (Alternative to Refund)
Instead of cancelling and requesting a refund, you may pause your subscription:
- Available for monthly and annual subscriptions
- Pause for up to 3 months per year
- No charges during pause period
- Resume at any time without penalties
- Ideal for temporary situations (travel, exams, illness)
11. Transferring Your Subscription
If you cannot continue but know someone who would benefit from our services:
- Transfer your remaining subscription to an immediate family member
- One-time transfer allowed per subscription
- Contact us to arrange the transfer
- Both parties must agree to the Terms of Service
12. Exceptions and Discretionary Refunds
While this policy outlines our standard refund procedures, we recognize that unique circumstances may arise. We reserve the right to:
- Grant refunds outside of these guidelines on a case-by-case basis
- Deny refunds that do not meet our eligibility criteria
- Request additional information or documentation
- Offer alternative solutions such as credits or extended access
13. Currency and Payment Methods
- All refunds are issued in the same currency as the original payment
- Refunds are returned to the original payment method only
- Exchange rate differences are not compensated
- Payment processor fees are non-refundable

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Changes will not affect refund requests made before the policy change unless legally required.
